About
Us
Shū
Jiàn, literally ‘book and sword’, also signifies ‘learning and practicing’, and
stands for the intense relationship between culture and martial arts. Chinese
philosophy teaches us that learning without practicing, and practicing without
learning are fruitless endeavors that will not lead to success.
In
2005, a small group of students founded this association with the blessing of
Master Chen Shihong in order to expand their training possibilities, in a
relaxed and enjoyable training atmosphere.
This
friendship and cooperation with Master Chen’s Austrian Chinese Wushu
Association provides students with an extensive training schedule, and offers
them the possibility to train in various Chinese martial arts. Students of
either association will receive discounts for the other school’s courses, as
well as for seminars and training camps.
